Hayden Scott has been a copywriter and creative head at some of the world's biggest (Ogilvy, DDB, Hakuhodo), smallest (StrawberryFrog, Metal) and most fiercely independent (Famous) agencies.
Along the way he has reinvented a hundred-year-old Indian brand (Raymond); rewritten the taglines of the world's most iconic brands for the cause of girl child education (Nestlé); designed a paintbrush for disabled foot artists (DOMS Stationery); used apples to defy a state-wide communication blackout (Radio Zindagi); and even made a music video for John Legend (Johnnie Walker).
These days he leads the creative team at VIRTUE Asia, working deep within culture to build brands in an age of goldfish attention spans.
Say helloHayden is passionate about teaching and is determined to bridge the mentorship gap in creative industries. He has recently published Diamonds to Detergent, a book to help creatives at three key points in their careers. He is also a passionate artist specialising in monochrome renditions of urban life and a multi-instrumentalist and independent producer who makes music under the name of Citizen Koi.
